Hello all you beautiful people!

General Conference was absolutly the best! Here is a summary of my favorites:

1. Dallin H. Oaks!! He blows me away every time. It was a good reminder after a hard week of work that it is all part of the plan.
2. Jeffrey R. Holland-- I just about cried. He is always so heart felt and genuine. It made me think that if we don't apply anything that we learn at Conference, church, or other meetings that it makes it a waste of time. We need to apply the revelation we receive from our Heavenly Father.
3. President Monson-- what a champ! FOUR NEW TEMPLES!! Woohoo! REPENTANCE. Oh my, such an important thing that our Heavenly Father has given us!
4. Bonnie L. Oscarson Do you believe? Nuff' said.

There were many other things that I loved, but I forgot my notebook so I can't remember at the moment! So lets go over this CRAAAAZY week we had here in Mont-Geezy

When Sister Breeze first got here, we went through our area book and picked some former investigators to check up on. There was this particular name, Chrystal Dooley, that stood out to us. BUT THERE WASN'T AN ADDRESS OR PHONE NUMBER. UGH. One of the missionaries who taught her was Sister Breeze's STL, so she decided to email her. Last Monday she forgot the email, so she wasn't able to. We didn't really worry about it. On Tuesday we decided to try a former named Esther. While looking for her house, which we couldn't find, we met this lady and started talking to her. We asked if we could give her a card, and she said "Yes! Please! Give me a card!". GUESS WHAT. IT WAS CHRYSTAL DOOLEY. She told us that she had been waiting for us to come and see her for a week. AHHHHH. MIRACLE. We talked to her for awhile, ON WE PUT HER ON DATE. She is so prepared and golden! But sadly, she is now off date because she did not watch conference, BUT IT WAS STILL A COOL EXPERIENCE. Woo.

Also, Garrett is no longer getting baptized on the 16th :( he doesn't feel its right. But he is still reading the Book of Mormon which is awesome!

Funny story of the week: we were walking through Kroger, and we were by all the wine going to the produce, we said "You know you're not in Utah anymore when there is more wine than produce". *bu dum tsss*

Lastly, our zone for the first time in pretty much ever has more Sisters than Elders. Now we call ourselves the Relief Society and the Zone Leaders call themselves the original Relief Society presidency... dorks.

Woo hoo!

Fultz and Breeze "Fubreeze"

Sister Breeze is my new companion! We came out together, and she was Sister Johnson's MTC companion :) I guess I'm just going to get sent to every sister from the MTC. Woohoo!

It has been a loooooong week. First week of the transfers usually are. We worked lists a lot this week and so it was fun to knock on doors in areas I'd never been in. It has been super mega hard to lead the area, but the Lord is definitely helping me through it all! I've realized how well I do NOT know the area...hahahahahhahahahahahhaha. It doesn't help that Sister Johnson accidentally took my GPS, so I will have to wait until Wednesday or Thursday to get it back. Awkward.

Sister Breeze is really clean, so we have spent a lot of time cleaning. Which has been really awesome! We spent a lot of time today cleaning our apartment and throwing away old expired food that I didn't even know was there.

We met this guy named Ben this week. He was telling us how he travels around a lot and that he has bad blood in Ohio. He said it's all for work and we said that his job sounded pretty lonely, and he said it was all for a good cause. We asked what he did and he wouldn't tell us--he said he wasn't at liberty to say. Strange. So we invited him to church and he said maybe if he was still in town and we left. Sister Breeze turns to me as I'm driving and says "I bet he's in the secret service" Me: "What do they even do?" Breeze: "I don't know, that's why it's secret. It's either that or hes an undercover Rockstar... or a drug dealer running from the law". We decided to call him Mr. CIA man. Sadly Mr. CIA man did not come to church., and so our suspicions arise. Mr. CIA reminds us of the main character of "Burn Notice"

Garrett is still on date for the 16th, and he just got home from Europe. We are seeing him tomorrow to teach the church lesson and the second half of the Plan of Salvation. Sister Breeze said she's lucky that she got to walk in on such an awesome investigator. Pretty much, haha.

Well this week was rather uneventful... I feel like I had more to say but I can't remember any of it. Ta ta for now!

I met Elder Neil L. Andersen

This week Elder Neil L. Andersen of the Quorum of the 12 Apostles came to our stake for a surprise stake conference. That Sunday he requested to have a meeting with the Greatest Ohio Cincinnati missionaries! You can imagine we were totally okay with that. He met with us at the Montgomery building, which is right around the corner from our apartment :) But anyway! We all got to shake his hand and it was just so awesome. He also talked to us at Stake Conference :) Here are a few insights from the amazing spirit filled weekend! President Bradley, the stake president, talked about the Atonement and the TRANSFORMING power that it has :) The Atonement can make us better if we chose to apply it. That is something that I have really learned this transfer. I have been changed all through the Atonement and I am so grateful for it :) Then Sister Porter talked to us! She talked about the Book of Mormon, and how we need to repent for not reading it ;) but it's so true! We need to be reading it every. single. day. The Book of Mormon WAS MADE FOR US AT THIS TIME. It was from our Heavenly Father to help us in our lives. SO READ IT. Also fun fact! Elder Andersen almost moved to Cincinnati many many years ago :) Elder Andersen is super funny. He was telling us that his wife told him to stop talking like he is so old. He told us that he can't help it when he hangs out with 80 year old men who have one foot in this life and on foot on the other side of the veil and they have to keep pulling them back in. HAHAHAHAHA. The congregation didn't know whether to laugh or not at that. I thought it was hilarious.

So this week was just amazing. Garrett is still on date, and he is now in Europe until Easter. The only downside it that he hasn't talked to his parents about it... and he needs to since he is 17. But he is reading the Book of Mormon which is amazing! I am staying in Montgomery for another transfer so I will get to see him be baptized! So blessed.

We are teaching an Indian woman who just got here over a year ago. Her name is Cimi and she is just so awesome. I never knew how the Indian culture was... she told us that she can't ask her husband questions! That is just so sad. We asked if she would be baptized and she said no because the other Indian people in the complex she lives in would think less of her. It is just such a hard situation. We are meeting with her again this week, so we will see how that goes.

The Koth family just had there daughter, Renee come home from Romania! She is so awesome. When we went over to meet her she was asleep and we woke her up. We took her teaching with us the other day and she tried to place a Book of Mormon... which we don't do in this mission. It was really funny! She was so embarrassed. She is really awesome at talking to people and connecting with them :) She is coming out with us again this week :) It's her brother who we were working with to quit smoking and drugs, and he is still in inpatient rehab. Luckily they get to visit him 3 times a week :)

I got to see Maxine from Cincinnati yesterday! Some people is the Monty ward know her and invited her and us over for dinner. It made me so happy to see her!! She told me I am very favorite missionary :)

I just love my mission! I can't believe that I am almost to my half way mark! So crazy. What is even crazier is that President Porter is going home in July... we are getting a new mission president and mom! President and Sister Welch :) President and Sister Porter actually know them, and they said that they will just help the mission be even better than it already is! I am just so beyond excited for this next year that I have to be on my mission!! This Church is true!!

Birthday Week

This was an awesome week, but also a really weird week.

Let me just say that as a missionary, you get a lot of fake numbers. It's really frustrating. That has happened twice this week. It's so sad and annoying!

Garrett, our investigator who is dating a member, is so awesome! We met with him on Thursday and committed him to read 1 Nephi chapters 1-5, and he did it by the time we met with him on Sunday!!! On Sunday we had dinner with him at the Meaders home (Tasia Meaders is his girlfriend). We taught part of the Plan of Salvation, AND WE PUT HIM ON DATE FOR BAPTISM ON APRIL 16TH. We are so exctied! Garrett is so golden. We just have to make sure that he is doing it for himself and not for Tasia :)

Funny story for the week, we got a new investigator named Victor.. I will try to explain to you the conversation we had: He started telling us about how one time he did psychedelic drugs, and said that we should really consider it. Then he said that when he did it and he saw everything moving like waves, he said "AND THAT'S WHEN I KNEW THAT EVERYTHING WAS A LIE". I didn't even know what to say to him. He just started going on this rant about this government project forever ago about building towers that could control our thoughts, so those voices you hear in your head is really the government. He said that he would challenge the voices in his head, and then they would go away (I'm preeeetty sure that's just him driving the spirit away). Then he was saying that the clouds in the sky aren't really clouds, but it's this material that the government sprays to hide all the planes and UFO's fighting each other. He told us that ever since he did drugs that he can see the UFO's all the time fighting the airplanes.... lastly, when we prayed and I opened my eyes his hands were out, and I said "Oh, you pray with your hands out?" (because Stef from my last area did too). Ohhhh, but get this-- he said he prays like that because when you do, and you're really good at it, you can open portals. When Sister Johnson and I walked away we busted up laughing. Oh, and also, we are meeting with him again Friday...

IT WAS MY BIRTHDAY! Thank you everyone for the birthday wishes, and thank you especially to my merm and derd for the package. It was a great birthday and my favorite fam in the ward fed us dinner! It was a fun filled day :)

This week is also my 6 month mark. Also, if any of you did not know, all missionaries who were in the MTC for only 12 days got their missions extended a week because they extended the amount of time English speaking missionaries are in the MTC. I will be coming home (not like it is any time soon) the first week of April! A week longer of serving in the Greatest Ohio Cincinnati Mission!! <3

Don't Smoke Weed

This was a crazy week!

We had zone conference on Wednesday! I always love those. President Porter talked to us a lot about Joseph Smith and the Book of Mormon. It was a good reminder that our testimonies are really based on those. :) It was very powerful! He also talked about how we have no right to judge because we aren't called as Judges of Israel. It was very powerful and very humbling :)

We met an awesome family this week! They were a referral from another media referral. They are so prepared! We found them on Saturday, they sadly didn't come to church, but then on Sunday we put one of them, Deja, on date for April 2nd! It was so amazing because we didn't plan on putting her on date, but the spirit prompted us to do so! She accepted!! YAY! DEJA IS GETTING BAPTIZED! We are so beyond excited :)

There in another investigator, Garrett, is mooooost likely going to get baptized this transfer :) he got approval from his parents (he is 18 but lives at home, so its just better to get their approval), and has been to church multiple times :) We just need to crack down and teach him and get his baptized! We really feel good about it and are really excited!

So our Less Active who is recovering from Marijuana addiction, got some weed this week... but he didn't smoke it! He had the courage to flush it down the toilet when we were there. He actually got it from his older brothers room... his brother no longer lives in the home. They chose to kick him out because he has no interest in changing. It was really sad but we believe it was for the best. We were so proud of our Less Active for not smoking the weed. We are sad he chose to take some, but repentance is real!

Today we went to the Chiropractor in Dayton, Ohio, We went to President Lochinger who is in the mission presidency. He popped our necks and backs and it felt amazing! Then he told us how some missionaries were at the Air Force Museum about 20 minutes away. We said that we would love to go, and so he gave us permission! The museum is actually outside of the mission, so it was a big deal to get permission. So we went to the Air Force Museum! It was so fun. We weren't able to stay long because we had on hour drive home, but we got to look at the Cold Ward display and the missiles. I sent some awesome pictures in my previous email!

This was a fun week! We are starting week 6 of the transfer, this is a 7 week transfer as well! So transfers are on March 22nd. I think  I'll stay in Montgomery, but you never know!

This was a really exciting and busy week! This week is pretty much the same. OH GUESS WHAT. There is an Apostle coming the 19th and 20th! He was coming to talk to our Stake, but he decided to have a meeting with the missionaries as well! So we get 2 days of the Apostle. We have no idea who it is yet! We are all very excited :)

Thank you all! Sorry about emails this week, I got a little crunched for time! Hope you all have a great week!

Less Active Miracles!

This week was so amazing. We have a less active who is 17. He is on his road to recovery from OxyContin and Marijuana. He started using them when he was only 15 years old. He also began smoking and chewing tobacco. His parents are also going through a divorce and his older brother is an alcoholic. When I first got to Montgomery, he wouldn't even talk to us. We read the Book of Mormon with the family during the week, and he would rarely join us. One day when we were reading a talk with them about the Atonement, he left to go smoke. It had snowed that day so he was shoveling the driveway while smoking. That day Sister Johnson and I felt prompted to put our snow shovels in the trunk of our car, now we know why. We took out the shovels and began working with him. We asked him questions, a lot of questions, about what he was going through. He opened up to us a lot. We bore powerful testimony of the Atonement. We encouraged him to go talk to the Bishop, and we also bore testimony of the Priesthood. He told us that he felt the spirit and he knew that we were sent to help him. Since then we have been able to build a much stronger relationship with him. He also joins our lessons and even contributes. When we got to the stop smoking lesson, we decided to teach it to him. He LOVED it. He loved being able to crush all of his cigarettes, which he had bought just that morning. We left him with many commitments and he was very excited to quit smoking. Sadly, the next day he did smoke, as well as the next day. We were going to see an investigator, and we felt prompted to go to see the less active. We pulled up to his house and he came outside right when we pulled up. He said he was just about to call us and that he had a panic attack, and that it wasn't a good time to quit smoking. He smokes and chews to curve his cravings for OxyContin and Marijuana. So cutting that out made the cravings even worse and caused the anxiety. We were very sad, but we encouraged him to smoke less each day. We committed him to give himself a limit on how many times he will smoke in a day. He set a goal of 4 the other day...usually he smokes about 10...he is so amazing. That day he stayed under 4. Even when he doubted he would be able to quit cold turkey, he was able to show himself he can do it slowly. We are so proud of him and his whole family. They have changed so much more since I got here about 4 weeks ago :)

There was another Less Active that was really sad to visit. She said that she takes the Sacrament at her church. We didn't say anything about it really, but she doesn't understand the Priesthood or Restoration. You really can't just take the Sacrament anywhere. It was really heartbreaking to see that she didn't want to come back to church and she thinks she is fine where she is. She got really uncomfortable when we were there, which just proves that she felt the spirit and she knows that she isn't where she is supposed to be. It's kind of funny how the spirit can work that way.

Sister Johnson and I do this thing where we think of all the places we should go, and we give them numbers. Then we say a prayer, and we hold up the number of fingers of the place we think that we should go. It's really fun and awesome because we usually hold up the same amount of fingers. REVELATION! We both felt we needed to go and see a less active family. We have stopped by before but usually they aren't home. This time they were! We asked if they needed any help around the house, and they let us do their dishes ;) woohoo! She really opened up to us about why she has a hard time going to church. It's a sad story, she went to go get her wisdom teeth out, and when they gave her the shot it hit a nerve, and now she lost half of her ability to taste. The reason that relates to church is because the dentist who did that is in the ward, and never apologized for it or checked to see if she was okay. It seems like a really dumb reason, but just imagine not being able to taste food anymore and the person who did it doesn't even care. I would be pretty upset. We talked to her about the Sabbath day, and she talked like she was going to come, but then she didn't :(

This week has been really focused on Less Actives, and it has been awesome to be able to strengthen and help them come back to church and build their testimonies stronger :)

Guess what! I let Sister Johnson CUT MY BANGS last night. They actually look really good! (Don't worry Mom!)

I love you all!

P.S. It's almost my birthday (March 12) ;)

I got sick... again!

Well hello!!

Yes, Sister Fultz got sick yesterday and didn't go to church for the first time in her whole mission! But yeah, I was throwing up in the middle of the night and then was just in pain the rest of the day. But last night we went to the church and the Elders gave us the Sacrament and gave us both blessings. It was an awesome and really funny experience. For some reason they thought only I wanted the Sacrament so they only got one piece of bread... haha what dorks! It was one of the most irreverent Sacrament experiences I have ever had. Also, the Montgomery ward is amazing!! So many of the members offered soup and whatnot. The Relief Society President brought us Chicken Noodle soup and Sprite! She's so nice. Then the member we were going to have dinner with brought it to us. So sweet! I love the Montgomery ward!

We had an FHE with a non member who is dating a member in the ward. His name is Garrett and he is dating Tasia who is one of the most amazing member missionaries of all time. So yeah we had dinner with Garrett and Tasia's family and then we had an FHE and taught the Restoration. We had to leave, but we wanted them to watch the restoration video. So we left it with them and they watched it after we left! Garrett asked a lot of questions about it and wants to meet with us again! So exciting!!!

SISTER JOHNSON GOT INTO BYU PROVO. I am so excited for her!! I always said if she didn't get in she should go to Utah State with me. I guess I'll just have to go to BYU ;)

So last week our investigator Ken told us to give him some time to think... which is kinda scary to hear. But we saw him on Saturday and he didn't drop us! There is hope! I always feel funny calling him Ken since that's my daddy's name :)

This week was interviews with President and Sister Porter. Nothing too exciting there :) I just love them! I'm going to be sad when they go home in July. It's going to be a weird change!

Nothing too exciting this week other than being sick. Woohoo! I love you all :)
