Happy Independence Day from the OCM

Hope you all had a fun and safe weekend. It rained here in Ohio, all day, and no one was outside. Made personal contacting somewhat hard as you can imagine. We were able to get a new investigator by knocking on some doors by a member (we don't tract, we knock on doors by members, haha). His name is Rodney and his wife is Raven. They have 3 kids, 2 of which have autism! You can imagine that we had lots to talk about. I testified to them about how families can be together forever, they liked that idea of that ;) We are seeing them Saturday! Because of the Holiday we had to be in by 6 pm for safety. We didn't have anything specific we needed to do, so we cleaned, watched Jesus movies and colored :)

Greg Pullem is still preparing to be baptized on the 23rd. He gave us a bit of a scare the other day... he wanted to postpone it. But after talking he decided there was plenty of time between now and then to prepare for it ;) Hallelujah. He is so awesome. We just need to get him to read the Book of Mormon every day.

Funny story of the week... we had to go to Hebron, Kentucky for interviews with President and Sister Welch. Well, we were driving along we were about ten minutes away. We went down this road, and it led to the river...and we  had to take a ferry to get across the river! It was so unexpected. Sadly, we did not have cash to pay for the ferry, so we had to backtrack... 30 minutes! It was the worst. Needless to say we were late to our interviews. Everyone made fun of us when we got there. I now know to put ferries as something to avoid on my GPS! It was really funny. Sister Coleman get scared easily when it comes to driving in a car, so her heart rate was through the roof!

Love you all! Talk to you again in a few days :)
